4。5 stars。 （only 4。5 because I probably won’t reread it） This was basically a series of conversations with Jane Goodall about her childhood and her wartime experiences， her initial adventures in Africa， her pivot to advocating for environmental justice etc。 It was a really lovely read， and I enjoyed how it was structured。 It feels increasingly hard to have hope in a world that is more and more on fire， but this book was such a ray of light。
